Cedar Springs Area Parks & Recreation recently issued the following announcement.
When: Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2 PM – 5 PM EDT

204 E Muskegon-Hilltop Building in Annex, Cedar Springs, Michigan 49319
PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 11 YEARS OLD AND IN 5TH GRADE OR ABOVE
They will learn how to set up their own babysitting practice. It will include learning about the basics of First Aid and CPR, rescue breathing, and what are appropriate foods for children with focusing on child growth and development, and the ability to handle emergencies. This class will help babysitters learn about safety for children, safety for themselves, and do some role playing of various situations.
This class is a must for any youth that may monitor young children.
Students receive a participation card at the end of the class. It is instructed by Spectrum-Health United Lifestyles of Greenville.
Great for nursery workers, big brothers/sisters, as well as the average babysitter.
