Holy Family Parish issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
From September 25 through November 3 you’re invited to join other Christians for 40 Days for Life, which is a grassroots, pro-life effort to end abortion through prayer and fasting. During the 40 Days for Life the United States names October as Respect Life Month.
Stand Up for Life!:
- Pray & Fast to end Abortion through out the 40 Days. Consider coming to Adoration on the Mondays of October to say a special Rosary with intentions for the End of Abortion
- Respect Life Weekend Oct. 5/6: Pray for a greater respect for life at all stages—from the womb to the tomb!
- Sign the End Dismemberment Abortion petition before and after Masses on Oct 5/6. This is the opportunity for those who have not signed it already—please do not sign a second time
- Take part in Holy Family’s peaceful prayer vigil in front of the abortion clinic downtown on October 16th. Sign ups begin next weekend.
