Sparta Township recently issued the following announcement.
Tuesday, November 5, 2019 there will be an election for a proposed school millage from Sparta Area Schools. The School District is asking for a renewal of the sinking fund millage. Sparta Township registered voters may vote at 660 State St S, or contact the township office to request an absent voter ballot. New this year - any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot without having to give a reason. Check where you are registered at www.michigan.gov/vote. If you are not yet registered, you can do so at the township office or Secretary of State.
