Walker Charter Academy issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
Our event is next week!!! If your child is collecting using donation envelopes, please send those in on the day of your child’s event (schedule below). Please have checks written to “AHA.” If by chance we do not have school tomorrow, please send them in on Monday.
For the event, we love volunteers as the entire grade-level of students will be in the gym during their time. It is also helpful if you can ensure your child has athletic shoes on for his/her event.
I’m also making one final push for students to get signed-up online!!! We have an incentive from The American Heart Association that will provide us with an additional $500 towards physical education equipment if we have half our students registered.
