Kent District Library issued the following announcement on Mar. 6.
Don't miss out on your chance to meet New York Times bestselling author, Laurie Halse Anderson. An author talk and book signing will take place at 6:30 PM on Thursday, April 23 at the Wyoming Senior Center, located at 2380 De Hoop Ave. SW. Laurie's writing resonates with young readers, teens and adults. She is the featured author for our Grandville-Wyoming Community Reads program which focuses on her book Speak. Laurie will also talk about her new book Shout, a memoir-in-verse about surviving sexual assault at the age of 13 and a manifesta for the #MeToo era.
