Creative Technologies Academy issued the following announcement on Mar. 19.
CTA Families,
Thank you for all your flexibility and willingness to utilize resources for your children during this time.
We are not planning to provide mandatory on-line distance learning for our students. However, we do want to provide volunteer opportunities for our students and families to engage in some fun and creative learning.
We also want to support all of you and streamline our communication so that everyone knows what and when to expect it.
This is an awesome opportunity for us to get creative. We are going to plan week by week, knowing that this situation is rapidly changing.
Here is what you can expect from our teaching staff this week:
Mrs. Campbell will be posting a link to YouTube every weekday with a video of one of our staff members reading a book. Mrs. Mattson will send a daily email with this link to all our PreK through 12th-grade parents.
Mrs. Mattson will send an email with academic resources to all PreK through 12th grade parents each Wednesday and will also post this on our family and public Facebook pages.

You will see that we have provided one option in which you can utilize technology and one option that does not require the use of technology.
Again, we thank you and appreciate your help and support through all of this. We have been so proud of the messages and language that our staff and families have used on social media and other communications. This is a time where we as CHARGERS take pride in showing the world that our job does not end when we send our students home!
Here at CTA we are all WORLD CHANGERS, and we are proving it once again to everyone!!
With all of this being said, conditions and recommendations are changing by the hour. We are committed to doing our very best to filter information regarding COVID-19 and make decisions accordingly. We will continue to provide factual updates as quickly and concisely as possible.
