Consumers Energy North Kent issued the following announcement on June 27.
We have restored power to 16,172 customers. We anticipate the remaining 15,933 customers who were affected by last night’s storms will have their power restored by 11 p.m. tonight.
Today’s weather forecast is ideal for restoring power, but also ideal for getting outside to play. If you are headed out today, please be mindful of downed wires. If you see one, assume it is energized and stay at least 25 feet away. If you see one of our trucks on the road, please slow down and give them plenty of space as you go around them. Also, for the safety of our crews, please give observe their need for at least 6 feet of social distance.
