City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Meet City Council Member: Cheryl Scales.Cheryl has been a Rockford resident for 26 years. She is married to Jim Scales and has two children, Christine and Jim both Rockford High School graduates.Cheryl has been a City of Rockford Council member for 4 years and Mayor for two years. She also serves as the Board Secretary for North Kent Connect. Prior to running for City Council, she was a member of the Rockford Zoning Board of Appeals for ten years.In Chery’s professional life she is a Principal and Professional Senior Civil Engineer at Progressive AE, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MIEmail Cheryl: cscales@rockford.mi.us
