City of Walker issued the following announcement on July 22.
The City of Walker and Walker Police Department are thrilled to team up with Feyen Zylstra to celebrate National Night Out 2021!
National Night Out is an annual community-building event to promote police-neighborhood partnerships and camaraderie so our City is a safer, better place to live. This event is a collaborative initiative involving numerous local businesses and nonprofits who have come together to celebrate the Walker community.
This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Feyen Zylstra, located at 2396 Hillside Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544.
In 2019, the City of Walker’s National Night Out welcomed over 1,000 attendees, including Mayor Gary Carey and local police and fire departments. Families are welcome, and everything is FREE! The event includes prize giveaways, face painting, bounce houses, games, balloon twisting, crafts, music, hot dogs, ice cream, and more!
