Summary Of The Regular Meeting Of The Cedar Springs City Council

Thursday, September 09, 2021 - 7:00 P.M.

Cedar Springs City Hall

66 S. Main St., Cedar Springs, Michigan

The Meeting Was Called To Order At 7 P.M. By Mayor Hall.  The Pledge Of Allegiance Was Recited.  Six Councilmembers Were Present.  Seven People Addressed The Council During The Public Comments. There Was A Public Hearing Regarding 425 Request For 4100 17 Mile Cedar Springs, MI 49319. The Agenda Was Approved With The Following Changes: To Remove Item 6F And 8D.  The Consent Agenda Was Approved As Presented. Action Taken: Motion To Approve Halloween Spooktacular From 5pm-7pm For An Estimated Cost Of $460.00, Date To Be Determined Pending Input Main Street Business.  Motion To Approve Ordinance 333 An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 40, Article I, Section 40-5 Entitled “Definitions – K – M”; Chapter 40, Article III, Division 12, Section 40-386 Entitled “Permitted Uses” For The I-1 Industrial District; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-461 Entitled “Home Occupations”; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-468 Of The Code Entitled “Marihuana Establishments And Facilities” Of The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs.  Discussion: Chickens Within The City Limits, Quitclaim And Reservation Of Drain Easement For 17 N. Main St, Discussion On The Proposed Permanent Part-Time Paid Time Off And Holiday Pay Policy.  The Meeting Was Adjourned At 8:31 P.M.  A Complete Copy Of The Minutes Are Available In The Office Of The City Clerk And Will Be Posted On The City’s Website Upon Approval.
