City of Walker issued the following announcement on Oct 21.
This Saturday, October 23, is the annual Amway River Bank Run. Part of the course extends into the City of Walker. Expect road closures, beginning around 8:00 a.m. in the following areas:
- Butterworth will be shut down between O'Brien & Maynard.
- Maynard will be closed between Butterworth & O'Brien.
- O'Brien will be closed between Maynard & Butterworth.
- The intersections of Collindale/O'Brien & Covell/O'Brien will also be closed.
Please plan your Saturday morning travels accordingly and seek an alternate route.
