Cedar Springs Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 19.
The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority. We have been closely monitoring our staff attendance all week. As we look at the staff who will be out on Monday and Tuesday, it is clear that we have crossed the threshold of not being able to safely remain open.
Therefore, the decision has been made to cancel classes on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23. We are currently determining if we are going to be able to open Campus Kids. A separate email will be sent out to families who use that service as soon as possible.
Buildings will be open on Monday during regular school hours so students can retrieve their belongings. Buildings will be closed on Tuesday. The District Office will be open on Monday and Tuesday during normal business hours.
