City of Cedar Springs issued the following announcement on Nov 16.

The City Council Has Approved Ordinance 233 An Ordinance To Modify Chapter 5 Article II Entitled “Recreational / Adult Use Marihuana Establishments” For The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs.  Revises The Number Of Permitted Businesses And Modifies Renewal Application Requirements.

The City Council Has Approved Ordinance 234 An Ordinance To: Amend Chapter 40, Article III, Division 12 To Add Section 40-390 Entitled “White Pine Trail Overlay Zone”; To Amend Article III, Division 1, Section 40-131 Entitled “Zoning Districts” To Add “White Pine Trail Overlay Zone And; To Modify The Map Entitled “The Zoning Map Of Cedar Springs. Revises The Zoning Districts And Zoning Map To Add A White Pine Trail Overlay District.

The City Council Approved Ordinance 235 An Ordinance To Amend The City Code By Adding A New Article Which New Article Shall Be Designated As Chapter 5 Article III Of Said Code And Entitled “Medical Marihuana Caregiver Operations.”. Adds Marihuana Establishment And Facilities Requirements For Marihuana Caregivers.

The City Council Approved Ordinance 236 An Ordinance To Amend Chapter 40, Article I, Section 40-5 Entitled “Definitions – K – M”; Chapter 40, Article III, Division 12, Section 40-386 Entitled “Permitted Uses” For The I-1 Industrial District; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-461 Entitled “Home Occupations”; Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-468 Of The Code Entitled “Marihuana Establishments And Facilities” Of The Code Of Ordinances For The City Of Cedar Springs.  This Ordinance Revises Rules And Regulations For Marihuana Caregiver Establishments.

Ordinance 233, 234, 235, 236 Are Effective November 18, 2021. Complete Copies Of The Ordinances Are Available In The Office Of The City Clerk.
