Northview Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 23.
Congratulations to the NHS Varsity Debate Team for earning a trophy by placing in the top 4 in the highly-competitive OK Metro Debate League! The team defeated Forest Hills Central, Grand Rapids Innovation & West Ottawa in their final night of competition. Going 3-1 in their final week of competition ensured their top 4 finish.
Also, kudos to Amara G. for earning a 4th place trophy in speaker points in the varsity division. This means Amara was voted by the league judges as the 4th best speaker out of over 200 debate competitors in our league!
