Village of Sparta issued the following announcement on Nov 24.
The Village of Sparta is seeking qualified residential developers for two properties located in the Village.
The first property, 299 E Gardner St., was purchased in 2019 for the purpose of realigning the E. Gardner St. and Elm St. intersection. The second property, 333 Doris St., was acquired by the Village of Sparta in 2011 for the purpose of an alternative entrance into the
Sparta Sports Park, however, this alternative entrance is no longer needed. The Village is committed to working with the developers through these Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to ensure the projects are successful.
