City of Walker issued the following announcement on Dec 1.
We may have already seen snow, but yard work is not over for our Department of Public Works crews.
In the coming weeks, they will make their way around the City taking care of overgrown tree branches and shrubs. This is necessary in order for vehicles, such as snowplows and garbage trucks, to fit under tree branches.
Our crews will be cutting branches equally around the trees in order to keep them looking uniform. We appreciate your patience as crews work this in-between snow clearing duties.
