Village of Sparta recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE: The Village Department of Public Works is finished with leaf pickup for the 2021 season. The crew will now be changing its equipment and priorities to snow removal and winter maintenance for the Village.
All leaf piles, yard waste, and brush materials that are still located at the curb must be removed. Village residents can drop off leaves, yard waste, and brush behind the DPW building located at 276 W. Division Street for free. Please be sure to remove leaves from any plastic bags should you utilize the drop-off option.
