City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Dec 15.
Due to the recent wind storm, we will be taking the chipper around the city on Monday (12/20) and Tuesday (12/21).
Please make sure branches are under 6 inches in diameter and over 4 feet in length and are at the curb by 7:00am on Monday, December 20 to guarantee pick up. Please also note land clearing, large tree removal, or work done by a contractor does not qualify for the City’s yard waste collection program.
