City of Walker Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan 6.
Earlier today, Walker PD responded to a crash on Wilson Ave SW. Initial investigation shows a southbound vehicle lost control & crossed into the path of a northbound semi.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the semi was not injured. Weather conditions likely contributed to the crash.
