City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Jan 13.
Drop off your EPS foam (styrofoam) and your old appliances and electronic devices this Saturday (January 15) at Extremis (239 Northland Dr NE) from 1pm-4pm.
Foam should be clean, hard packing foam or food containers (no peanuts). E-waste includes small appliances, printers, computers, laptops, DVD/VCR, almost anything with a plug. (No CRT TVs, freon, or refrigerators). All free of charge thanks to our partners - Dart Container, The Junk Luggers, and Extremis!
