City of Walker Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan 13.
Good Morning Folks!
If you haven’t already noticed, there’s a new traffic signal where Walker borders Ottawa County, at the intersection of 3 Mile Road & Remembrance.
Use extra caution near the intersection, as motorists get used to having a signal there to control traffic.
We’ve seen some complaints about red light violators, and will patrol the area as time allows.
