A public forum will be held tonight (May 9) at City Hall at 7 p.m., hosted by the DDA and City Council to review survey results of two downtown street closures and get additional public comment. You can also attend on Zoom - find link here: https://tinyurl.com/mr3w2fy6
The question is whether to reopen two downtown streets – block-long sections of Main and N. Center – to vehicular traffic. The two streets have been closed from N. Center to Hutton and from Main to Dunlap, respectively, since June 2020.
