Hello friends and community members. I’m reaching out to the local community to speak about dreams. I’m currently looking for a volunteer host family for Maria from Spain.

Maria is an amazing young lady, and missed the opportunity to come this school year. I really want to help her find a family for next year. Can you consider opening your heart and home, and helping make her dream come true?
You do not have to have teenagers in your home to take part in this amazing opportunity. Single parents, families with small children, families with no children, same sex couples, and single people are encouraged to apply to be a host family.

Maria is 16 years old that from Spain. She lives with her mother and father. Maria has a brother, but he no longer lives at home because he is in the army. Both of her parents work at the local university. At home her family has a dog. Maria watches her neighbors children and cousins to earn extra spending money. She loves little children. She can speak fluent English and Spanish. Maria loves spending time with her family. She really enjoys spending time with her dog. She loves taking her dog Nana for walks. Maria has a very big extended family, and she loves spending time with them. She has 11 aunts and uncles, and 11 cousins. Maria enjoys traveling and meeting new people. Her favorite hobbies are acting, listening to music, and playing the piano. Maria is very outgoing, and it’s easy for her to make new friends. Maria loves going to the movies to watch new releases. Her favorite type of movies are Marvel. She has seen all of them, and has been to all of the Marvel movie premieres! With her friends she loves to go shopping at the local mall. They usually go there to celebrate each other‘s birthdays. Maria cannot wait to go to the United States and experience a real American high school. Can you help make her dream come true?
