Special Orders of Business:
• Tim Kelly from Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc. / Downtown Development Authority presented priorities and projects for the upcoming year.
• Andy Thalhammer presented on the Circuit Court Specialty Courts including: Mental Health Court, Veteran’s Court, Sobriety Court, Juvenile Mental Health Court and more.
Key Resolutions:
• $46 million in CERA funding (rental assistance) has been provided to the community to date.
• Establishment of an Ordinance Violation Bureau, adoption of Parks Ordinance and Solid Waste Management Ordinance.
