Last week local high school students participated in the Metro High School Police Academy. The weeklong, hands-on program offers a glimpse into law enforcement training before students enroll in a police academy.
Instructors had an incredible week mentoring and working with these students. Way to go graduates!
The Metro High School Police Academy is supported by the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, East Grand Rapids Public Safety, Kentwood Police, Grandville Police, Rockford Public Safety, Walker Police, Wyoming Public Safety, and the Grand Valley State University Department of Public Safety.
