Meet one of our exceptional trainers! (a new thing we'll start doing more often) BCBA- Haley as the POC in Chattanooga.
Haley was born in Alabama and moved to Tennessee last year after earning her B.S and M.S in Psychology at Jacksonville State University, where she attended school from 2015-2021. The psychology graduate program at JSU has a strong emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, and throughout school Haley utilized the principles of ABA and behavior modification to aid in teaching remedial math courses to freshmen who were conditionally admitted to the university. She also helped as a teacher and as a resident assistant for an intense summer bridge program to help students adjust to college and living independently. Haley spent time interning at Vapor Wake K-9 unit on Fort McClellan where she helped train the search dogs, and she was a lab instructor for an introductory level psychology course where she taught students to shape the behavior of pigeons using various schedules of reinforcement.
Haley has been a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) since June of 2021, and she has provided ABA therapy to children, adolescents, adults, dogs, cats, horses, and - yes - even pigeons.
