Of the 25,213 citizens living in Iosco County in 2020, 21,069 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 10,590 of those people were female and 10,479 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
