The Kent County Board of Commissioners thanks the community for submitting over 300 ARPA proposals. Thank you for the time and effort you committed to submitting your proposal. We appreciate your engagement in this process.
“I am incredibly proud of the time the board put into reviewing more than 300 proposals, evaluating the transformational impact of each proposal, and then coming together to address some of the most critical needs facing our community,” concluded Stek. “These projects will undoubtedly have a generational impact throughout Kent County.”
Unfortunately, the Board could not fund all proposals at this time. The decision not to fund a project is no reflection on the quality or merits of the proposal. Rather, it is a testament to the caliber of the proposals and transformational needs in the community. We sincerely hope each of the unfunded entities continue to pursue their project’s vision and engage and collaborate with the Kent County Board of Commissioners.
