The mindset of "how long will this take to teach?" Is always one that is ultimately going to struggle.
In school, you were taught so many amazing skills. As time drifts by, many of those skills you learned drift away.
Only through continued training will these skills stay sharp and constant.
Just like us, a sharp pup is always going to be in training.
Even service dogs need continued education.
Training is a lifelong commitment, never a short-term solution with an endpoint.
