Get to know KSSN's 2022-2023 interns!
Meet Jacob Urban, our intern at Cesar E. Chavez Elementary School in Grand Rapids Public Schools. Jacob (seen in photo on Left) will be graduating this spring from GVSU with a degree in Social Work, with future aspirations of obtaining an MSW and pursuing a career in school social work or military social work. Interestingly, as a child, Jacob wanted to be a psychologist, thinking they can "read people's minds"!
Some of Jacob's responsibilities at César E. Chávez Elementary include assisting with student and family needs, providing interventions or interviews with students, and general support for staff; Jacob's favorite part about interning with KSSN is building professional relationships and working with the kids!
