Get to know KSSN's Board of Directors!

Meet Adnoris "Bo" Torres, an educator who is passionate about the Latinx Community, and who is serving his third year on the KSSN Board. During his professional career, Adnoris "Bo" Torres has served as a program coordinator, manager, and executive director, and worked in the city of Detroit for 15 years. Skilled in community organizing, student development, policy analysis, comparative politics, and organizational development, Bo utilizes his Political Science background and Chicano/Boricua studies to focus on affecting the issues of importance to the Latinx community. Currently, Bo serves as the Project Supervisor for Strong Fathers / Padres Fuertes Project, Strong Beginnings - Healthy Start @ Corewell Health.

When asked why he supports KSSN and the community school model, Bo says, "Community is centered in the community school model, and our young people benefit from our commitment to this work."

We are so grateful to have Adnoris "Bo" Torres on our Board. He provides valuable insight and wisdom, and was a critical voice for our organization's recent Strategic Planning process. He fights everyday to help remove barriers for all historically marginalized persons, and we are truly lucky to have him share his time and expertise with KSSN!
