Bryan Posthumus assumes third term as Michigan state representative

State Rep. Bryan Posthumus | Michigan House Republicans

State Representative Bryan Posthumus, a Republican from Rockford, was sworn in for his third term on December 23, 2024. Currently serving as the minority floor leader, Posthumus will assume the role of majority floor leader in January. This change follows the Republicans gaining a 58 to 52 seat advantage in the Michigan House of Representatives after securing control in the November 5 election.

The oath of office was administered by Michigan Supreme Court Justice David Viviano at the Capitol in Lansing.
