Kent City Baptist Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Attention all KCBC ladies:
Each fall, a highlight for many women is our Ladies Retreat. This fall, due to the uncertainty, we had to make some changes and thought it best to attend the Lake Ann Ladies Retreat. This year's theme is REFRESH. Doesn't that sound great?! They do a wonderful job with their retreats and the speaker comes highly recommended...she spoke last year and they are having her back due to popular demand!
The dates are coming quickly: September 11-13, 2020 (Friday evening - Sun morning). There will be a church van or carpools for transportation.
Lake Ann is in a beautiful wooded setting and we will stay in 'premier cabins.' Though there will be ladies from many churches there, our KCBC group will be 'cohorted' for the weekend as a family for safety. We will enjoy the others, but will be only in close proximity to ladies from our group.
Thanks to a generous grant Lake Ann received and passed on to us, there is a code for $20 off the cost for the first 20 ladies! Use kcbc20 when registering.
We encourage ladies of all stages and ages to take a break from their everyday life and meet with the Lord in a special way.
