Cedar Springs Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 27.
We are excited to announce our new School Resource Officer at Cedar Springs Public Schools - Deputy Ryan Roe!
Deputy Roe had the privilege to work with Deputy McCutchen (our previous School Resource Officer) and is honored to pick up where he left off.
Deputy Roe's prior experience includes; road patrol for 12 years and community policing for six years serving the east district of Kent County. For the last three years, he has been a School Resource Officer at Sparta Area Schools.
Cedar Springs Public Schools is extremely excited to have someone like Deputy Roe here to provide a safe and secure campus!
