Blandford Nature Center recently issued the following announcement.
After a hectic few weeks here at Blandford, we want to take a moment to focus on something positive and express our gratitude for our volunteers and the incredible amount of support they provide. In 2021, 593 volunteers and 36 service groups donated 7,280 hours of their time to help us continue our mission!
These volunteers spent the year helping with trail maintenance, removing invasive plants and planting native ones, caring for our wildlife ambassadors, engaging with our visitors at community programs and events, and so much more. We are lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing volunteers and we are incredibly grateful for their hard-work and love of nature.
