One of the places the Blandford Farm sells wholesale produce is South East Market! South East Market is a grocery store in Grand Rapids with a mission to increase access to healthy, affordable and culturally-accepted food for our community through a sustainable and equitable lens.
They both support local farmers and provide accessible fresh food options to the community is through their Pay it Forward program. Individuals who have the means can choose to donate to this fund, which is used to offset costs of sourcing high quality food from local producers. This option provides dignified, culturally accepted, and nutrient dense food through a sustainable food system. These dollars will be applied to purchasing local, sustainably raised meat and poultry and produce from local, Black Farms. These items were chosen because of their positive impact on community health, environmental sustainability, and contributions towards building equity within our local agriculture system.
