Honoring those who came before us.
Linda Barnes of Lowell contacted the KCSO recently and wanted to give us her father's KCSO badge from the 1950's era. Her dad, Frank Stephens, wore this badge while employed as a deputy sheriff working from 1930 until the early 1960's. Frank served his community as the Lowell Police Chief for many years and was also deputized as a Kent County Deputy during that time.
Linda, thank you for sharing your father's story with us and passing along this keepsake for us to display at KCSO headquarters.
