Sen. Huizenga Names Ryan Knight as New Chief of Staff

Sen. Mark Huizenga, R-Walker, has announced the appointment of Ryan Knight as his new chief of staff. Knight, a native of the 30th Senate District, brings a deep understanding of the community and the necessary experience to address the challenges facing West Michigan families and workers.

In a statement, Sen. Huizenga expressed his confidence in Knight's ability to serve the people of Kent and Ottawa counties, saying, "I am proud to have Ryan join our team to help serve the hardworking people of Kent and Ottawa counties and give them a voice on the tough issues affecting them and our entire state."

Knight, a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a degree in political science and public administration, has a strong background in public policy. Prior to joining Sen. Huizenga's office, he worked as a public policy field director for the Michigan Realtors, where he served as a liaison for local realtor associations throughout the state. He also previously served as campaign manager and policy advisor for current state Rep. Bryan Posthumus.

The 30th Senate District, which includes parts of Kent and Ottawa counties, will benefit from Knight's knowledge and dedication to improving the state and solving the problems faced by its residents.
