Sen. Huizenga to Host Town Hall Meeting for West Michigan Residents

LANSING, Mich. —Sen. Mark Huizenga will be holding a public town hall meeting in Cascade Township on Monday, March 11 to hear from residents of Kent and Ottawa counties.

Sen. Mark Huizenga, R-Walker, will be hosting the town hall meeting at The Wisner Center inside the Cascade branch of the Kent District Library located at 2870 Jacksmith Ave. SE, Grand Rapids. The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 11.

According to Sen. Mark Huizenga, the purpose of the town hall meeting is to allow West Michigan families and job providers a platform to voice their goals and concerns regarding the state's improvement. He stated, "Huizenga will be hosting a town hall meeting to provide West Michigan families and job providers a forum to talk about their goals and concerns and what the Legislature needs to do to improve the state."

Sen. Mark Huizenga represents the 30th Senate District, encompassing various areas including the northern half of the city of Grand Rapids, the cities of Coopersville, Rockford, and Walker, and several townships such as Ada, Allendale, Alpine, Cascade, Grand Rapids, Plainfield, Polkton, Tallmadge, and Wright. He added, "Huizenga represents the 30th Senate District, which includes the northern half of the city of Grand Rapids; the cities of Coopersville, Rockford and Walker; and the townships of Ada, Allendale, Alpine, Cascade, Grand Rapids, Plainfield, Polkton, Tallmadge, and Wright."
