Are you 60 years of age or older and have a household income under 130% of the Federal Poverty Guideline? If so, the Kent County Community Action is hosting a food distribution event on September 23 to supplement your diet.
The event will be held at the Kent County Human Services Complex - North Parking Lot at 121 Franklin St. SE in Grand Rapids. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. or while supplies last.
Eligible households will receive a monthly distribution of food products, which may include cheese, milk, canned meat, plant-based protein, vegetables, fruits, grains, cereals, and juices. Visit https://bit.ly/3dKRi8h to learn more about this program.
